She recommends staying Downtown area for dinner. The Omaha Symphony is playing at the Holland Center, the Ringling Barnum and Bailey Circus is at the Qwest, Taste of Omaha continues until 11 p.m., and the Capitol District, the Old Market and the Slowdown always have entertainment.”

“We encourage the ‘tourists’ to plan to spend the entire day in the area. This is a good way to get a feel for what living downtown is like,” said Chris Redfield of jLofts. “There are a lot of great events in the area every weekend all summer. Taste of Omaha and Nebraska Children’s Home’s Sand in the City are two of the downtown activities, in addition to the weekly Farmer’s Market.”

You can download a PDF version of the tour map here. To take the free shuttle, just start at any of the nine locations featured in this year’s tour. Plenty of parking is available within walking distance of any of the stops, both on the street and in nearby parking garages.
There will be four shuttles running continuously throughout the tour. Linger at each stop as long as you want, another shuttle will be coming shortly to take you to the next stop or relax in the air-conditioned tour bus to jump spots to get to your desired location.
